Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of PubOpener at pubopener.pro (“PubOpener”, “we”), operated by SSV Studio. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. The service
PubOpener is a free web tool that opens and converts Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files inside your browser. It is supported by advertising. We may change, add or remove features at any time.
2. Your files
Files you open are processed on your own device; they are not uploaded to us. You remain responsible for the files you open and for having the right to open and convert them. Keep your own copies: PubOpener does not store your files.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use PubOpener to break the law, to process material you have no right to use, or to disrupt, overload or attack the site or its infrastructure, including through automated mass requests.
4. No warranty
PubOpener is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Publisher layouts are complex; we do not guarantee that every file will open or that every conversion will match the original exactly. Check important results against the original.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SSV Studio is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of PubOpener. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Advertising and third parties
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense and links to other websites. Third-party services have their own terms and policies; how ads and counters work here is described on the privacy page.
7. Trademarks
Microsoft and Microsoft Publisher are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. PubOpener is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Microsoft.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
